Ben Nevis and the Mamores from Meall Dearg

From an ascent of Meall Dearg from the Kinlochleven side of the Glencoe mountains with good friend Brian Reilly. This was shot from the highest vantage point I managed to reach lying on a hard snow bank beneath the mist hidden summit. The forecast was for 'intermittent' rain but the higher we climbed the worse the situation got. The summit was out of reach due to steep hard packed ice and the odd hurricane force winds full of hail that whipped up randomly and forced me to hunker down for fear of being blown off my feet. Still, great conditions for the contrasts of light I love to see dancing across these landscapes :)
(stitched from 7 upright frames shot with a 200mm)
