Mulafossur and Gásadalur village, Vágar, Faroe Islands.
Until 2004 the dwindling population of Gásadalur could only reach home over a mountain or from the sea. Thankfully a tunnel was burrowed through to allow access by car and should be a must on your list if you ever go to the Faroes. Dramatic coastline, jagged peaks, beautiful village and one of the most spectacular waterfalls I've seen, spilling into deep Atlantic blue. Photo heavenAdd to Cart Add to Lightbox
