HONORABLE MENTION - International photography awards
The Blasted tree, Rannoch Moor.
I clocked the sky moving fast from left to right ahead of me driving down the A82 towards Glencoe and glorious shafts began to dance as the sun became partially obscured by thick black cloud. The exact location of this tree had always eluded me until this moment, I pulled up sharply and swung the car into a gravelled lay-by having spotted it, much nearer to the road that I had envisioned. Alas the tree is no more, mabye a good thing? I think everyone and their dog has had a go at this location and some amazing shots out there of this iconic scene, this shot was my first and last of it.
