'Holding on'
One from a couple of days up in Orkney in the run up to Christmas 2016. I was on an assignment for the Economist's 1843 Magazine, dispatched to capture some of the essence of the Isles during the short time I had to scoot around. I shot this flat on my stomach, sheltered by an overhang of rock, while powerful winds rushed landward off the Atlantic. This was the begginnings of storm 'Barbara' and luckily I just made it off the Island befor the weather had cancelled all sailings over the festive period.
